We are pleased to advise that we progress our works unless agreed otherwise upon the NEC4 Professional Services Contract subject to agreement. This is the agreement between us and sets out our responsibilities to one and other during our appointment to you.

It is imperative to us that we act in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation and that we work with you on a proactive, fair and reasonable basis. It is on this key basis that we utilise this agreement whilst we undertake our services for you.

We also use this agreement on the basis that it gives us the opportunity to discuss and agree our appointment with you; all so that we are both comfortable with it.

This agreement is also independently written without bias towards either of us and as a result we find it a fair and reasonable basis upon which to commence our services for you.

Upon initial appointment, we will provide you with a copy of our terms of appointment all for your acceptance. We can provide draft copies in advance of any appoint all for your perusal.

Billing is progressed strictly in line with the following legislation:

Housing Grants, Construction & Regeneration Act 1996

The Scheme for Construction Contracts Regulations 1998

In accepting our appointment and unless otherwise agreed, you agree that VBSL can produce marketing information such as a case study for VBSL’s marketing requirements, in alignment with the law of the contract.
