Appointed to advise and set out the environmental building services strategy, heating, lighting, hot water and renewable design for this new 500m2 village hall for the Mareham Le Fen community, all of which formed part of the budgeting requirements needed for Mareham Le Fen’s Parish Council lottery funding bid.
Commissioned by Belvoir Fruit Farms to provide a low-carbon, low-cost mechanical and electrical design services 600m2 new office building, to facilitate the ongoing expansion of the company. Our services included building regulations advice, draft SBEMs and budget estimations.
We employed sustainable expertise for the passive solar m&e design of this 20000 m2 student services building. Sub metering, occupant re-active lighting systems alongside daylighting and natural ventilation techniques were amongst the low energy measure employed within this sustainable scheme.
Appointed to provide building regulations and environmental heating design advice for this 500 m2 refurbishment project. The dwelling now comprises of 5 bedrooms, granny annex, swimming pool, games room, all located within 500 acres of prime North Nottinghamshire countryside.

Delivering energy efficient healthcare buildings in an innovative way is quite a challenge. By integrating GSHP & CHP, lee’s design and installation allowed waste heat to the recovered from the CHP plant which was then re-directed to a GSHP ground loop all in all improving the efficiency of both low carbon technologies.

Working as Environmental Building Services Engineer for a Bristol based consultancy firm, We achieved a prestigious national Award for Excellence for the application of passive sustainable design of this waste management facility in Shrewsbury.
Supporting our client Bellair (Scotland) Ltd with the refurbishment and modernisation of this 2500m2 office building that is coupled to the Old Post Office in Falkirk. Advising on thermal performance of the buildings as well as low energy artificial lighting design to maximise daylight.
St Peter’s and St Paul’s PCC commissioned our design services and project administration services to provide a low carbon, low energy running cost heating system for their 16th Century Church. We designed and delivered an upgraded heating system, reducing running costs that allows any renewable heating technology to operate it.
Appointed by a Leeds based sustainably led developer as their environment building services engineers for this 160 plot mixed-use, low-energy, low-carbon, sustainable housing development. Our services extended through from concept design for plot types to site wide utilities design and project engineering support.

Focusing on fabric first principles VBSL worked to drive forward energy efficient and low cost heating & hot water, ventilation, lighting design and operation.
Our client at St Helena's PCC commissioned our design services to provide a low carbon, low energy running cost heating system for their 11th Century Grade 1 Listed Church, bringing our wealth of building services and low carbon technology experience to the fore.
